Before Requesting an FCO

A Full Corporate Offer (FCO) is a commercial proposal and should not be treated as a guarantee of crude oil availability, allocation or transaction completion. Commercial offers remain subject to product availability, verification, negotiation, due diligence and applicable contractual requirements.

Buyers should provide accurate corporate and purchasing information so that their requirement can be properly evaluated.

What Is a Full Corporate Offer (FCO)?

A Full Corporate Offer is a formal commercial proposal issued by a seller or authorized commercial representative to a prospective buyer. It normally presents important terms relating to the proposed transaction, such as product, quantity, pricing basis, delivery terms, payment structure and offer validity.

An FCO normally comes after meaningful buyer engagement and provides a more structured commercial basis for further negotiation. It is not the same as a Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA), which establishes the contractual obligations agreed between the parties.

FCO = Seller's detailed commercial proposal

fraud warning

Be Careful With Fake FCOs

A professionally formatted FCO does not automatically prove that the offer, company, product or seller authority is genuine. International commodity markets can attract fraudulent offers and impersonation.

Before paying fees, signing contracts or transferring funds, independently verify the relevant company, authority, documentation and transaction structure.
